This is a basic announcement page.  For all CMENC related events see Nicky Bull to have announcements posted here.  Check back often as new events will be added frequently.

• Congrats to the 2000-2001 Officers.  Check out the Officer page to see who they are.  We are excited about our new officers and their plans.  Hope to see a prosperous year with these new guys.
• We would like to take the opportunity to publicly congratulate two of our members on their election to State Office.  This past January Rob Lyda was elected President of the State Collegiate MENC.  Marc McLendon was elected to the office of state Vice President.  This is a great opportunity for these two gentlemen to make a great difference in the role of music education in our state colleges as well as in the entire educational system in this state.  We are very proud of these two and know that they will make our chapter and our university very proud.
• Also, this chapter of  Collegiate MENC had three of its members honored by the National Collegiate MENC association.  Nicky Bull, Rob Lyda, and Jennie Mills were awarded for their hard work and dedication to CMENC on a local, state, and National level.  These three have had a long standing association with our chapter.  They have all traveled extensively to represent Troy State and the State of Alabama in the name of Collegiate Music Education.  We want them to know we appreciate all of their hard work and dedication.
